5 Holistic Health Hacks

Holistic Health is a combination of MINDful Choices, Intentional Practices and a Feeling of Deep Respect for the interconnectedness of our being.

That's a pretty deep sentence, so let's break it down. 

MINDful Choices means being Present and Conscious of our Thoughts and our Feelings.  Making Decisions that are THOUGHTful rather than impulsive and reactive.

Intentional Practice is a MINDfulness approach in which one Designs, Creates and implements Well-Being Solutions.

And lastly, Deep Respect for the interconnectedness of our Being is a way of understanding our Relationship with our World, Creatures living with us on Mother Earth, Ourselves and Others.

When we put it all together, we live an Intentional Life, respectful of all and everything.  

Today's FIVE Holistic Health Hacks, are focused on us. 

How we can Heal, Connect (and Disconnect) and be Grateful for all we have. 

GRATITUDE 

1. Mindful Morning Rituals:

Wake with Gratitude and begin the day by expressing Gratitude for the Gift of a New Day filled with Possibilities and Opportunities.

By Feeling Grateful, our Vibrations elevate toward Positivity and will draw Positivity back to us.

Incorporate Mindful Breathwork Exercises into your Morning Routine. By engaging in Deep, Intentional Breaths, we center ourselves and cultivate a sense of Serenity before our day unfolds.

These simple acts set Positive Tones, and Primes our MIND for a day of MINDful and Positive Living. These Daily Practices will foster an Abundant MINDset full of Appreciation, Positivity and Calm.

MOVEMENT

2. MINDful Movement Magic:

Engage in the JOY of Movement.  Whether it's Dancing to your favorite music, Enjoying a Nature Hike while snapping some Photos, Bowling with Friends, Walking Fur Babies, Riding a Bike on a Favorite Trail, Kayaking, Canoeing, Paddle Boarding, Working in the Garden, Playing with Grandkidz, or Going to Fly a Kite!

Make your Movements Happy ones.  Ones you will EnJOY and that bring you JOY.

Join a Class for the JOY of it.  EnJOY Classes with Slower Movement Activities such as Yoga or Tai Chi, Qui Gong. These Activities Promote Health, Cultivate Mental Clarity, Emotional Balance and a Deeper connection with our Body.

Making JOYful Movements a Celebration, makes us Feel Good - Body, MIND and Soul.

DE-STRESS

3. Stress-Busting Strategies:

When Overwhelm and Stress strike, take a few moments to Just Breathe.  Deep, Long, Slow Breaths. In and Out, in and Out.   

By Deep Breathing, our Lungs get a larger quantity of Oxygen, our Muscles begin to Relax and our Nervous System Calms Down. 

Taking short Walks, Listening to a Positive and Motivational Podcast, and just Closing our Eyes to Relax, helps Reduce Stress Levels tremendously. 

Being aware of what causes our Stress and knowing what Strategies to bust our Stresses is of great importance for our Overall Well-Being, and Mental Health.​

DETOX

4. Digital Detox Delight:

By scheduling regular breaks from our Screens, it helps to Reduce Digital Overwhelm. Not only is taking a Break from the Screen good for our Psyche, it also gives our Eyes a much needed Rest. 

Continuingly engaging in the Screen, does not give our Eyes a Break and is similar to being on a Treadmill for hours.  Even our Eyes need a much-need Detox from Digital.  Invest in Blue-Junk Glasses when engaging in Artificial Screen-Time Light. 

Unplug for Inner Peace! Sometimes you just have to UNPLUG and give yourself a Digital Detox. 

No scrolling on Social Media, no watching Videos, no posting Content, no Digital anything.  You can do it! 

Whether it's for a day, a week or longer, Digitally Detoxing is good for a Re-Set!

5. Pamper Perfection:

Unleash the Art of Self-Care Bliss with an at-home Spa Day! 

Treat yourself to a Warm Bath, Read, Enjoy a MUD Mask, put a Volume Treatment in your Hair, Put some Cucumbers on your eyes and lie down, Light a non-Toxic Candle, Spray some Soothing Aromatherapy Scents, Listen to some of your Favorite Tunes, have your fluffy Towel and Housecoat ready and LOCK THE DOOR and ENJOY! 

Treat yourself to a Spa-like experience at home by giving yourself a Facial using Organic and Gentle Skincare Products and take the time to give your Face a Massage. 

Do Whatever makes you Happy and makes you FEEL RAWmazing. 

Block time for yourself and make sure no one disturbs you and, Turn your Devices off.

By spending time on our Self-Care,
