The Immune System

Our Bodies are Incredible Machines.

They are Designed to Cleanse, Nourish and Restore themselves.

​Each System plays a Unique and Important Role in our Bodies.

 What is the Immune System?

Our Immune System Protects us from Harmful Invaders like Bacteria, Viruses, Fungi and TOXINS.

It is made up of Organs, Cells and Proteins that work together to Keep us Safe:

🤍 White Blood Cells (Leukocytes): These are like our Body’s Soldiers, constantly On Patrol to Find and Destroy Harmful Invaders.

💧 Lymphatic System: This System helps Clear out Toxins and Waste, and balances our Fluids.

🦴 Bone Marrow: This is where New Blood Cells, including those Crucial for our Immune Defense, are Born.  

🎯 Antibodies: These are Special Proteins that Targets and Neutralize anything that shouldn’t be in our Bodies.

The Immune System

How Our Immune System Works:

When something Harmful (Bacteria, Viruses, Fungi and TOXINS), enters our Body, our Immune System Responds in two ways: 

1. Innate Immune Response:
This is our Body’s First line of Defense. 

It's like a Immediate Overall Alarm System that Reacts Quickly to any Threat.

2. Adaptive Immune Response:
This Response is more Specialized and takes a little Longer to Kick in.

It involves Creating AntiBodies that Specifically Target the Invader.

NOTE: Our Immune System remembers the Invader for Next Time, giving us Immunity.

Signs Our Immune System may be Compromised

 A Few Signs to indicate we may have issues with our Immune System:

🤒 Frequent Infections – Recurring Colds, Flu, or other Illnesses.

🩹 Slow Wound Healing – Cuts and Injuries take Longer to Heal.

😴 Chronic Fatigue – Persistent Exhaustion, even with Adequate Rest.

🤕 Frequent Headaches – Ongoing Headaches or Body Aches.

🤧 Allergies or Sensitivities – Heightened Reactions to Allergens or Irritants.

🤢 Digestive Issues – Bloating, Diarrhea, or loss of appetite.

🦠 Recurring Skin Issues – Rashes, Dryness, Acne or Eczema.

How to Support Our Immune System

To Keep our Immune System Strong, we can Engage in these Daily Practices:
