Here are several types of Sea Vegetables and you may even know a few:
1. Nori: Usually known to wrap Sushi rolls, because it has a mild, slightly sweet taste and a crispy texture when dried.
2. Wakame: Often used in soups like Miso soup. Wakame has a subtly sweet flavor and a slightly slippery texture.
3. Kombu: Widely used in Japanese cuisine, added to broths and stocks for its savory-rich flavor.
4. Dulse: This red Seaweed has a chewy texture and a salty, smoky flavor. Dulse is often enjoyed as a snack or added to dishes for its unique taste.
5. Hijiki: Hijiki has a strong, earthy flavor and a slightly crunchy texture.
6. Arame: With a mild, sweet flavor and a tender texture, Arame is often rehydrated and used in salads.
