❤VALENTINE's DAY AND SELF - LOVE ❤

Valentine's Day, is a day typically associated as a day to Express LOVE, Affection and Show Romantic Gestures towards Family Members, Friends and especially, Romantic Partners.

That often leaves those who are Single or not in a Romantic Relationship, or those feeling alone or left out, inadequate. This does not have to be the case. 

Your Worth is not dependent on a Partner, a Friend or Family Member. 

Your Self-Worth comes from SELF-LOVE.

Here are 3 Ways to Embrace SELF-LOVE and Celebrate OUR SELVES on Valentine's Day❤ and ❤EVERY DAY❤

3 Ways to Embrace Self-Love:

1.  NO SUCH THING AS PERFECTION:

❤Cultivate a Positive SELF-IMAGE

We live in a World that is constantly and continuously bombarding us with Messages of Perfection. 

The Perfect Face. The Perfect Body.  The Perfect Life. 

We often tend to compare ourselves with others and beat ourselves up when we fall short.

SELF-LOVE is a fundamental aspect of our Well-Being and a way of combating Unworthiness.    

We no longer have to feel any pressure to be PERFECT, especially on Valentine's Day!

There is an important way for us to LOVE OURSELVES, Recognize our Worth, Embrace our Imperfections, and Prioritize our OWN HAPPINESS and Fulfillment.

The First Step is, to Take Charge of our THOUGHTS and Start Changing our MINDset. 

By Changing our Thoughts, we Create Feelings that Drive our Actions.

Simply put, when we SHIFT our Thoughts to Focus on Positive Thoughts within, we begin to SHIFT away from the 'Perceived Perfect'  Outward World. 

And, by Cultivating our Positive Thoughts, we begin to Feel LOVE for OUR SELVES

We begin to Build on that SELF-LOVE and Develop Feelings of Worthiness and Acceptance.  And, through those Positive Feelings, we Create Higher Emotional Feelings of Happiness, Joy, LOVE and especially SELF-LOVE.

Those Positive Feelings begin to Drive us to Celebrate and Cherish the MOST Important Relationship we'll ever have . . .

The Relationship with OUR SELVES - Imperfections and all.

2.  TERRIBLE TRIGGERS:

❤Start Watching POSTIVE MEDIA

Detoxing from Negative Digital Messaging and Exposure is a Must!

Negative Screen Scenes on TV, Digital Devices and on BIG Screen Movie Theatres, affects our Emotional Health and Mental Well-Being, and we must start Limiting and/or Avoiding the Negativity it at all costs. 

WHY?  Because it comes at the Highest Cost - our SELF-LOVE.  

Anything on our Digital Screens that makes us Feel a Negative Emotion (jealousy, rage, anger, sadness, resentment, unworthiness), or Triggers any Negative Emotional States (Stress, Anxiety, Frustration, Helplessness, Guilt, Fear, Loneliness, Emptiness), needs to be DELETED, UNFOLLOWED, BLOCKED and, we must make the Decision to NO LONGER Participate in Watching! 

It requires a MINDset of Self-Awareness, an ongoing process, which ultimately Creates SELF-LOVE. 

Being Continually MINDful of what we allow into our Outward 'Digital World', is paramount to Building a Healthy Self-Image of OUR SELVES which ultimately Creates SELF-LOVE within.

By Curating and Selecting our Positive Digital Environment, one that UPLifts us, Encourages us, and Supports us in a Positive Way, we Create the 'Feed' we want to FUEL our MINDS with. 

There are many Tools and Apps that can help us limit exposure to Triggering Content, such as Content Blockers or Social Media Usage Trackers.  This helps us Filter Out content that is 'FED' to us through our own Viewing Algorithms, through Ads and Sponsored Commercials.

Imagine scrolling through your Social Media Feed, seeing only things that make you Happy, hearing Music that puts a smile on your face, and watching a Video that fills your Heart with LOVE and brings you JOY.

By SHIFTing our MINDset and being Aware of our Negative Thoughts and where they come from and what they are Triggered by, we can start to CHANGE our Thoughts to Positive ones. 

And as we do this, we begin to Cultivate a Healthier Relationship with OUR SELVES by Prioritizing our own MENTAL and EMOTIONAL Well-Being. 

And through this Process of SHIFTing our Thoughts and MINDset, we can Create our Self Worth which Creates our SELF-LOVE! 

3.  FORGIVE ME AND THOSE THAT HAVE TRESPASSED AGAINST ME:

❤Practice FORGIVEness:

LET GO of Past Mistakes, Regrets and What If's.  Here's HOW:

We cannot Control the Past or the Weather, or other Peoples' Behaviour.

All we can do is Move Forward and live in the NOW. Famous Author Eckhart Tolle wrote an entire book on it "The Power of Now".  It's about Living Fully in the Present Moment.

By Forgiving OUR SELVES for whatever Story we Created in our own MINDS, we extend Compassion towards OUR SELVES.  We Give OUR SELVES LOVE.

Through Understanding our Human Flaws, we start to Grow towards the Enlightenment of OUR SELVES. 

By recognizing Everyone has Flaws and Faults, and everyone Creates their own MENTAL STORIES through their own Perceptions, we can start to FORGIVE those who Trespassed Against Us.

Most People are HURT People.  And many times Hurt People, Hurt People.  They often just don't know any better.  If they did, we believe, they would DO Better. 

We can never know why People do what they do, say what they say, behave like they behave.  Most of us don't even know why we do what we do, or say what we say, unless we start Practicing a MINDset of FOREGIVENESS . . . towards OUR SELVES and towards others.

We must begin to Recognize that Imperfection is part of the Human Experience, and that our Personal Growth stems from SHIFTing our MINDsets.  The way we THINK, Controlling what we THINK and REDirecting our THOUGHTS, when they do not serve us at the Highest Level:  SELF-LOVE! 

Recognize holding on to Resentment only harms OUR Progress. 

We can Release Negative THOUGHTS through Practices such as Journaling (writing what we are GRATEFUL for), Meditation, through MINDset Mantras and Affirmations to help SHIFT our MINDset.

Our Journey here on this Planet, is OUR JOURNEY and no one else's. 

Do not worry about other people and what they have done in the past.  We can not Change it.  We can not Change the Past.

What we can Change is our Thoughts about it. 

It's imperative for our MENTAL and EMOTIONAL Well-Being to FORGIVE and LET IT GO so we can Grow.   

And, so we can Develop the SELF-LOVE we are WORTHY of Experiencing!
