Valentine’s Day is Celebrated on February 14th in honor of Saint Valentine, who lived during the Roman Empire.

The date marks the Feast Day of Saint Valentine, who was Executed on this day in 269 AD.

Legend has it, that Valentine was a Priest who Defied the Roman Emperor Claudius II, who believed Unmarried Men made better Soldiers and, therefore, Banned Young Marriages.

Valentine Secretly Married Couples, spreading Love in a time of Restriction, until he was Arrested and Executed on February 14th for his Beliefs.

His Defying Spirit and Dedication to Love earned him Sainthood, and February 14th became the Day we Remember His Values.
