Common BLOATing Culprits

Summer BLOATing can leave us FEELing Puffy instead of POWERful.

Here are some Common Seasonal Triggers so we can AVOID BLOATing and instead GLOW all Summer Long!

🥤 Carbonated Beverages​​
Bubbly Drinks = Extra Gas in the Digestive Tract = BELLY BLOAT.  That includes Sparkling Water!

🍨 Cold Desserts & Drinks
Too many Cold Beverages and Frozen Treats can Slow Down Digestive Fire and cause BLOATing. Avoid Ice if possible.

🍉 Too Much Fruit at Once
Large Quantities of High-Fructose Fruits like Watermelon, Mangoes, or Grapes, especially after meals, can Ferment and Create Gas.

🚗 Travel Disruptions
Flying, Long Drives, or being off our usual Sleep and FUEL Schedule, can Back Up Digestion and leave us FEELing BLOATed, Heavy and Inflamed.  Stay on a Routine and Move around in a Plane, or Stop regularly when Driving.

🍉 Fruit After Meals
Eating Fruit on top of a Full Stomach causes Fermentation, Gas, and Discomfort. Fruits are best enjoyed on an Empty Stomach.  Eat Fruit at least 30–60 minutes BEFORE a Heavier Meal or Wait 2–3 hours AFTER Eating a Full Meal.  Great time to Eat Fruit is First thing in the Morning or as a Mid-Morning / Afternoon Snack.
