There is a Connection between
Our BRAIN and Our GUT?

Did you know that our Brain and Gut are connected in ways you may never have imagined?

Our Gut is often referred to as our "Second Brain" because it Communicates Directly with Our Brain through the VAGUS NERVE.

This means that the Health of our Gut can actually impact our Mental Health and vice versa.

Poor Gut Health is commonly linked to Negative Emotions and Feelings like Depression, Anxiety, Sadness and even Laziness. 

Create a Healthy MicroBiome

So, what can we do to keep this Connection Healthy?

Creating a Healthy MicroBiome, or Gut Flora (Environment of MicroOrganisms) is Created by Nurturing this Diverse Community that inhabits our Gut.  

Consuming a Nutrient-Rich FUELstyle High in Fruits, Vegetables and PRO-BIOTICS, keeps our Gut Flora Thriving together with Cultivating a Positive MINDset also contributes to a Healthy Gut MicroBiome.  FYI - Pro-Biotics in Latin means "PRO LIFE".

8 Ways to Support Our BRAIN-GUT Health:

FUELstyle:

#1 - By Eating a Variety of Fiber-Rich Foods, the Fiber serves as Food for Beneficial Gut Bacteria, promoting their Healthy Growth and Diversity, which is what we want.  We can do this by including Fruits, Vegetables, Whole Grains, Legumes, and Nuts into our FUELstyle.

#2 - By Consuming Fermented Foods that contain ProBiotics like Yogurt, Sauerkraut, Kimchi, which are Beneficial Bacteria that contribute to a Healthy Microbiome.

#3 - By Limiting the intake of Animal Foods, Processed Foods and Sugars, our Gut Bacteria does not get Disrupted.  When we Consume High amounts of these types of Foods, our Gut Bacteria Ratio is Modified and can Increase Potentially Harmful Bacteria instead.  Opt for more RAW Plant Based Foods to Support our Healthy MicroBiome instead.  

#4 - Staying Hydrated and Drinking Water, helps Maintain the thin lining of the Gut, which provides a Friendly Environment for Beneficial Bacteria.

#6 - Getting Enough Good, Quality Sleep, is Essential for a Healthy MicroBiome, and for our Overall Health. Aim for 7-9 hours of Uninterrupted Sleep Each Night.

Avoid Overuse of AntiBiotics: Antibiotics can disrupt the balance of gut bacteria, so use them only when necessary and as prescribed by a healthcare professional. FYI - Pro-Biotics in Latin means "ANTI LIFE".

#8 - Consider ProBiotic Supplements as they may be Beneficial for Restoring and Maintaining a Healthy MicroBiome, especially after AntiBiotic use or Stomach and Intestine issues.
